Today I’m reviewing a high-quality replica of the Rolex Air-King, which has a 40mm case diameter. The Air-King is quite a good-looking watch. Today I’m comparing two factories – currently the best in the market for this model: Clean and VS. In the image below, the watch on the left is from Clean, and the one on the right is from VS.

From a normal viewing distance, there’s no difference between the two. The Clean watch has protective film on its bracelet. If you peel that film off, I honestly couldn’t tell which factory each watch belongs to.

The hands look solid, with no burrs. The hour markers, including the numerals 3, 6, and 9, have chamfered edges and are very rounded and smooth.

The bracelet is made of 904L stainless steel, with very clear and fine brushed texture.

Opening the clasp, the inner surface is matte finished and all one piece.

The engravings inside differ: VS has “UZ2”, while Clean has “6WP”.

Purely from the exterior, it’s hard to tell them apart. However, the movements are different. Clean uses the Shanghai 3235 movement, which has a power reserve of about 40 hours. VS uses the Dandong 3235 movement, with a power reserve of up to 70 hours.
