Like the Nautilus, the Aquanaut is also a very popular model in the replica watch industry. It looks slightly more sporty than the Nautilus. Today I’m bringing you a comparison review. In the picture below, the one on the left is the Aquanaut released by 3K factory several years ago, and the one on the right is the Aquanaut from BBF factory. BBF is a new factory that mainly produces high quality replicas of Nautilus and Aquanaut.
The main difference between the green Aquanaut from these two factories is the color. The one from 3K factory is a grass green, which looks too green and differs significantly from the authentic version. BBF factory improved upon 3K’s version and made it an olive green, matching the color of the authentic watch.
There is also a difference in the color of the luminous material applied to the hands and hour markers. The luminous material on the 3K factory version looks slightly greenish, while the color of the luminous material on the BBF version is consistent across both the hour markers and the hands, appearing pure white.
The date font on 3K Aquanaut is thinner than that of the Aquanaut on BBF.
The movement of 3KF green Aquanaut is a clone 330, but the movement engravings is very shallow, they look like being printed, other than being deeply engraved.
BBF Green Aquanaut uses a clone 324 movement, but the movement engravings look much deeper. BBF is correct.
