Compared to the previous green Seamaster, this watch uses bronze gold throughout, giving it a reddish appearance that most people would find difficult to pull off. As for this replica, unless you really like the style, I wouldn’t recommend buying it, because the replica is made of stainless steel with a rose gold plating on the surface.
The case and bracelet of this watch are both stainless steel, with a thick layer of rose gold applied using vacuum electroplating technology to prevent oxidation and fading, while also making the overall color very close to that of bronze gold. The red bezel insert matches the watch’s overall color perfectly.
The crystal is sapphire, domed, with smoothly polished edges. The hour markers on the dial are evenly filled with luminescent material – plenty of it, but not bulging out. Each hand has chamfered and polished edges.
A special mention goes to the stainless steel mesh bracelet, which is not easy to produce. In the past, factories used welding for the connections, but now they use a one-piece pressing and forming technique. If you want to buy just this bracelet separately, it is very expensive – especially the titanium bracelet used on the 007 No Time to Die watch.
